question: i read some article in the internet you cant download leaked edition of win8.1 and use your product key of win8 to active it the only way to get official edition of win8.1 is by upgrade from Microsoft app store and many people have problem like my problem to there is another way by download win8 downloader and use your product key of win8 to start downloading then cancel it and use win8.1 downloader to start downloading win8.1 without asking for product key of win8.1 to download official edition of win8.1 i use this method but it fail because my windows 8 edition is single language and win8 downloader didn't accept my product key to download retail edition of win8 so what should i do i want to as if i download win8.1 single language edition from this thread :- Windows 8.1 with Update ESDs Repository and then install it with generic key then after that you my win8 product key or (product ID) what ever it is is this able of the ISO file in this thread is also leaked edition i wish someone help me
#1. Those ESD builds aren't leaked, they are official MS files offered during Windows 8.1 Store upgrade process. #2. Win 8 OEM keys are valid for Win 8.1, no problem to activated them after setup. #3. Download the Single Language ESD matching your language from the Repo and refer to the '==Usage==' Spoiler for How-to and scriptfiles to convert that ESD to an ISO.
hi i have another problem after i download Windows 8.1 with Update ESDs Repository (single language edition) and then extract esd-decrypter-v3.7z then go to cmd as administrator and choice option 4 to Create Full ISO with install.wim then extract the iso and run setup.exe i use my win8 product key (i got it from OEM-DM) i got this error screen "the key does not work with this edition of windows ,try a different key" i try to use many generic key but i fail does any one have any idea how to install this single language with original active key '
