Hi, I recently made a windows 7 virtual machine on vmware on my new laptop. I disabled all virtualisation based security and hyper v on the host. However, the display drivers do not seem to work properly. It was a fresh install of windows 7 sp1 u genuine iso and i only installed kb3033929. neither is aero working nor is the display of the vm auto resizing. even winsat is failing instantly saying that the assessment could not be started. So, I would like to ask what the problem might be and how it can be fixed. Thank you in advance. Host specifications: Windows 11 25h2 RTX 5050 16 gb rab i7 13700hx
Indeed, display/graphics drivers are not installed. Install VMWare Tools, you'll find it the window menu VM -> Install VMWare Tools.
