Hi guys i have a hp-15-d002tx laptop , which is out of warranty . A few months ago the laptop stopped working , i went to the hp service centre , where they informed me that i need to change the motherboard . The price they mentioned was to high , so i went to a local laptop repair shop and replaced the motherboard . Now the laptop is working fine, however i purchased a hp carepack and adp through hp shopping. now the problem is my original laptop has the following info in the bios : Product name :hp 15 notebook pc hp model :15d002tx product number:f7q71pa#acj serial number:5cb4095fmq which is in my purchase bill and care pack and adp receipt. But after changing the motherboard the details have changed to : Product name :hp 15 notebook pc hp model :15d002tx product number:f7q71pa#acj serial number:5cb4095f5g now as the last two digits of the serial has changed hp is not giving the care pack support and the adp. ............................................................................... So guys need your help is there any way or anyone who can modify the bios and change the serial number . Regards
Help needed for my hp d002tx laptop urgently Hi guys i have a hp 15 d002tx laptop , with 3years carepack and adp . A few months ago i was out of station and the laptop.there was no hp service centre nearby so i went to a local pc repair shop. They said i need to change the motherboard pof the laptop. I did so. Now as a matter of fact i had no clue that changing the motherboard will change the serial number of laptop and other details in the bios . Now hp is not accepting my carepack and adp . Can anyone help me get back my original serial and bios info . I do have the original invoice . Regards
