So a recent virus corrupted my brothers hard drive and gave me unmounted boot volume blue screen so I reinstalled windows on his hard drive when it was plugged into mine, went to transfer it and it doesn't recognize it. So then I tried formatting the hard drive and plugging it back in and still nothing says there is no hard drive to install windows to. I know the hard drive works fine because when I installed the OS it worked on my computer but not his. His motherboard is fine as it detects the memory and hard drive in bios, etc. I'm beginning to think Dell has some sort of restrictions and I may need some drivers on the hard drive for it to recognize it? Someone please help.

you have to do some change in BIOS because i am got that error before but i forget which part in BIOS you have to change so, try to check the HDD option.

hope you get the exact option .
