I just got msi motherboard z87-g41 pc mate and no matter what I do windows 7 loader do not work and the work around don't work either when I do the work around I try to reinstall windows and I get a message that windows can not install and it makes me reformate the drive again can anyone help me ????
I think that motherboard uses UEFI, so the loader would say something about an unsupported partition type, correct? The easy way to get Windows to install how you need it to be is to convert a Windows 7 ISO to a USB install and then delete bootmgr.efi from the USB. Then you boot the Windows 7 USB (you might need to change the BIOS boot order), select a language and then hold SHIFT and press F10. Enter these commands: Code: diskpart list disk select disk 0 clean convert mbr create partition primary select partition 1 format fs=ntfs quick Then you can close the window and continue with the Windows 7 installation. Once complete the loader should install. As it's a brand new system you'll likely want to avoid a BIOS mod, so your other option is to install Windows 7 Pro or Enterprise and activate it with Cody's Microsoft Toolkit.
just one more question where can I find a good iso of windows 7 ultimate 64 bit I have tried to download it but can't find ultimate in English ????
