I was able to resolve my issue by downloading the trial version of windows from microsoft, not entering a key, then after installation doing it manually: slmgr -ilc "NAME OF DELL LICENSE FILE" slmgr -ipk DELLKEYGOESHERE I guess the disk I was using was somehow not working which was extremely odd! All is well now however
