@ mech.jordan I know this is a little late in the game, but I see you say that you "lost" your product key. What OS was originally shipped with this pc, XP, Vista, Win 7 etc. If it was Win7 you shouldn't have to mod anything or use a loader or anything except insert the proper cert and serial using Daz loader.
