Hello, there is an option on W8-1-1 taskbar: It is called: "Show Windows Store apps on taskbar." It doesn't do above, since it is possible to have pinned Metro apps (inactive and also running) on taskbar with this option disabled too. (I have pinned Immersive Control panel.) (Maybe it doesn't show unpinned Metro apps - I didn't checked since I have killed UAC.) However it DOES something better: It doesn't display rollouted taskbar in Metro, so horizontal slider is finally accessible (just like in W8-0-0 and W8-1-0). So everybody seeking this functionality, should disable that option. )
