    I have a motherbord that they have been removed but the computer still works like a charm =)

    This is why I don't buy the lifetime claims made by LED light bulb manufacturers. Sure they might use 50,000hr Cree LED's, but they also use the cheapest caps that will blow in 1-2yrs. And when the caps blow, they take our the LED drivers with them.

    Just to make the thread more interesting. Do we have photos of solid caps damaged? The ones gigabyte claims last 5-6 times longer :sneaky:
