How can I configure a router that is connected to a modem router?

    Hi,

    I have connected my router (Belkin F5D7231-4) to my modem router (Netgear DGN1000) but I would like to change the router to become a wireless AP, or a bridge.. but I can't see my router's own configuration (192.168.2.1) only my netgear's IP (192.168.0.1) both of the routers act under the main modem routers settings, but I would like to separate them.
