Well, if you don't want to buy a cheap Windows 7 Pro key (Windows 10 Pro accepts it) then this is the only other way to get a permanent digital license.
Then you click the trouble shoot button, and tell them you changed your motherboard, and all is well.
What about the Microsoft Toolkit solution? How do I activate Windows 10? says we can activate Windows 10 with MSToolkit
Hello guys, new to the forums here. Any help with activating Windows Pro would be appreciated. Thankfully, I was able to activate Office 2010 fairly easily (although not with Toolkit). I am using the version of Toolkit from MDL. I tried a number of things, including disabling Defender/whitelisting folders for AutoKMS and the Toolkit itself, deleting the TAP adapter from Device Manager --> Network, making sure I am running the Toolkit as an administrator, trying to check the status of all keys in cmd using cscript cspp.vbs functions (/dstatusall) to check for anything unusual/extra, and of course sneezing twice, coughing once, and blinking three times. haha, ok the last part may not have made a difference, but I think you get the point. No matter what I tried to do to uninstall keys, etc., here is what "Check System" Under the Product Keys Tab returns every time (the _____ are used in place of the actual characters): --------------------------------------- Product Key: _____-_____-_____-_____-T83GX Validity: Valid Product ID: 00331-10000-00001-AA396 Advanced PID: XXXXX-03311-000-000001-03-1033-10586.0000-1112018 Activation ID: 2de67392-b7a7-462a-b1ca-108dd189f588 Product Description: Win 10 RTM Professional Volume:GVLK Edition Type: Professional Edition ID: X19-98795 Key Type: Volume:GVLK Eula: Volume Crypto ID: 3311 --------------------------------------- Product Key: _____-_____-_____-_____-3V66T Validity: Valid Product ID: 00330-80000-00000-AA513 Advanced PID: XXXXX-03308-000-000000-00-1033-10586.0000-1112018 Activation ID: 4de7cb65-cdf1-4de9-8ae8-e3cce27b9f2c Product Description: Win 10 RTM Professional Retail Edition Type: Professional Edition ID: X19-98841 Key Type: Retail Eula: Retail Crypto ID: 3308 --------------------------------------- Product Key: _____-_____-_____-_____-MTDDQ Validity: Valid Product ID: 00325-80679-56714-AAOEM Advanced PID: XXXXX-03258-067-956714-02-1033-10586.0000-1112018 Activation ID: 0567073a-7d74-403b-b2d5-6b35da372d8d Product Description: Win 10 RTM Core OEMM Edition Type: Core Edition ID: X19-99523 Key Type: OEMM Eula: OEM Crypto ID: 3258 --------------------------------------- Here is what Toolkit returns when I run "Check" under the Activation tab (after AutoKMS has been installed, of course): --------------------------------------- Name: Windows(R), Professional edition Description: Windows(R) Operating System, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel Family: Professional SKU ID: 2de67392-b7a7-462a-b1ca-108dd189f588 Application ID: 55c92734-d682-4d71-983e-d6ec3f16059f Installed Product Key ID: 03612-03311-000-000001-03-1033-10586.0000-1112018 OID: 322811029694404574730131980660350343913433424155129416625161766 Last 5 characters of installed product key: T83GX License Status: Notifications Mode Error Code: 0xC004F056 Error Text: The Software Licensing Service reported that the product could not be activated using the Key Management Service (KMS). --------------------------------------- IF the program doesn't hang/freeze (which it will sometimes), there are other times where I will get an error message similar to the one above with attempts at Activation and/or EZ-Activation. Kind of over it to be honest! I have spent an inordinate amount of time on this and am pretty much about to give up, unless someone might have a recommendation or two to share! Thanks!
Try this one one https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/kms_vl_all-online-offline-kms-activator.63471/
Most likely, what you used for that is causing the problems with MTK? btw, MTK doesn't seem to be able to handle the new license switches and systems with an OEMM for another sky then the installed one, for more support ask in the MTK thread. When all fails you can try what @endbase advised to use, it's the most uptodate and best KMS solution ever.

Follow steps on first post here ... https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...g-through-the-complete-upgrade-process.64770/
so the update server knows that i have win10home license even if i activated win10pro on same hardware?
The Windows 10 HOME licence is embedded in the computer hardware. When you get a HWID for Windows 10 PRO it will be registered with MS servers. You can have both HOME and PRO on the same computer and have no problem if the activations are done correctly.
ok and wat all data will be collected from update server when computer downloadsing updates by hardware id ?
