How do i modify the 'factory installed os' string?

    I may be totally off base, but have your tried DMIscope or DMICFG.exe (HP util)? I know there are other similar DMI strings that can be modified with DMI tools rather than in the BIOS itself.

    Well dmicfg.exe won't even boot, OS imcompatible... And dmiscope runs but won't load any information...
