Oops, might be needed, but can be done afterwards, as it doesn't need the WIM to be mounted. There is an option to set only the flags. Check success with Check option .
Yeah, this time a gotcha . Created WIM with ProfessionalWMC [Index 1], Professional [Index 2] and Core [Index 3], all updated with Spring Update and the two ones offered additionally via WU, .NET enabled and ProfessionalWMC with proper Tokens. Additionally boot.wim and ISO files have been updated with MSMGs script flawlessly ... CHAPEAU! from here . Then converted the WIM to ESD, now the whole ISO is 5,05 GB. All three installs have been tested and completed sfc /scannow without errors afterwards . Time for a little Break . =================================================================== EDIT: Recommend a test install (in VM) to verify it accepts the WMC keys afterwards. In case it doesn't, something went wrong.
Ah yeah, the .NET feature expects a mounted ISO by design. Simply mount it by (double)click and only enter the drive letter in form d . Then it will work. My bad, forgot to mention this . ========================================================================== Remember to set the proper flags as last process with JATD, then copy files from Setup ISO to \DVD\ folder of MSMGs tool, overwrite old with new WIM there. Updates to \Updates\xXX folder and give it a go .
Ahh yes, but for anyone not wnating to dl the huge wadk, the alternative is there Oh didnt realise .Net 4.5.1 was part of 8.1, sweet can remove that part then
Win 8.x is able to mount ISO files to a virtual drive by simply (double)clicking them. Check the driveletter of the new virtual device in explorer and enter the driveletter in my tool (where it asks to specify the drive letter of install disk). You only need to enter the pure letter without ':'.
Thanks, i see now. What step should I add the drive letter? (e.g.) Code: Path to mounted ISO > K Is correct? Thanks really for your patience
Yep, exactly, that should work. You're welcome . ==================================== Checking out for now ... will pop in here later, good night .
