How far are we away from having a new OEM SLP K** ?

    Mate, there are new keys out already, all the new activator provide us with an activated copy of windows 7 using a Dell Key and Cert, plus there are Acer Keys in existence as well :D

    Oh. lol just saw it. It is been quite sometime since i came in here.
    Btw , the dell and Acer keys is it going to be "blacklisted" like lenovo case again?

    ya mate all the leaks are fine so far out those 3. I went to dells from levono.Just cause I'm a paranoid freak..lol but there all good. levono may or maynot. It depend if ms if bsing. Which i say they are at least to sp1. By that time. We should have almost every vender anyway.lmao.:p

    Depends on how far is the nearest PC store from us. They are hiding inside those new boxes, you know... those that wait October 22...

    I have a legal retail MSDN key activated onlline the normal way but am on an Acer PC. Would the loaders work on my PC to make it Acer Certified SLP-OEM?

    When Home Premium key?

    I know i am an impatient person,but why do you think a Home key hasnt appeared and the Ultimate and Pro have,after all the first 2 are the most expensive anyway heres hoping one will pop along shortly............Great forum guys........

    If you have a legal retail MSDN key why would you want to use a loader?

    I saw there was one specifically for Acer and a loader with Acer SLP would mean it was Acer certified no?

    I don't understand what you mean by 'Acer Certified SLP-OEM'

    You are about as legal as you can get with your activation.

    Modifying the bios to slic 2.1 and activating win 7 using an OEM-SLP key is a way of making windows 7 genuine if you don't have a retail key.

    Using a loader is for people who do not want to or can not flash their bios to slic 2.1. Loaders emulate a slic 2.1 by software means.

    Keep your legal retail MSDN key and enjoy your legal windows 7.

    Somehow a legal license activated from a retail key seems to be worth less than one activated using a forged SLIC bios. Probably because the former does not have that permanent feel to it.

    No, I think it the risk taken to mod your bios which make a OEM dearer. LOL:D

    I have slic 2.1 modd bios and have msdn retail keys and made a backup and restore program to restore the key offline like a slp but only good for this machine without hardware changes just lazy to write to read me file and put it out and if you backup the token.dat pkconfig file and retail key it will restore it for you
