Yes, it does. Recently, I installed IE9 from the Feb exe 9.0 and when it completed, it was 9.0.1 with no need for that recent update of June which updated it to 9.0.1. What about if there is no net connectivity during install. Will it keep it at 9.0 or fail to install. IE9 install takes some time and during that time one has always seen `downloading...'. Why?? when the installer should have been self sufficient till that June update. Does it have to download to install.

I made an AIO image that contains both x86 and x64 versions of 7. Unless I missed something, these posts only mention integrating for one architecture or the other, but not both. Is this possible?

yes you can do both, create a bat for both types and update the relevent index and install.wim then copy back the install.wim with the IE9 injected back to your dvd

Thanks guys. I haven't built an ISO for Win7 in a while. I forgot the index numbers went above the 1 through 5 for the x64 entries. Seemed like maybe I was overwriting things with the same name with the given steps. Anyway, it's all integrated and works well.

No one has mentioned here..Once you create the new Windows 7.iso it is no longer bootable. How do you make it bootable again? I used to use NLite and it can't find the I386 fiules.I think that was for Windows XP. How can I make it bootable again? Thanks.

You may copy all files to a pendrive and make it bootable with this commmand

    \boot>bootsect /nt60 u: /mbr

(where u: is the pendrive letter)

This works for x64 or we need to change "System32" to "SysWOW64"?

    Thanks

    erase /F /Q "C:\IE9\IE9_SUPPORT.CAB"
    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:5 /MountDir:C:\WIM
    dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\IE9
    dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\WIM /commit
    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:4 /MountDir:C:\WIM
    dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\IE9
    dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\WIM /commit
    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:3 /MountDir:C:\WIM
    dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\IE9
    dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\WIM /commit
    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:2 /MountDir:C:\WIM

    RD /S /Q "C:\WIM"
    RD /S /Q "C:\IE9"
    pause

    and than I ran

    Code:
    dism /mount-wim /wimfile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:5 /mountdir:C:\WIM
    reg load HKLM\WIM c:\WIM\windows\system32\config\software

    reg unload HKLM\WIM
    dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:C:\WIM /commit

Old topic sorry, but how do I run this? after I integrated IE9, it deleted the WIM folder, hence I get an error due to now WIM with content, sorry if i'm being a noob here.

*EDIT* My bad, made a silly copy/paste error, seems like it's working now.

I'm just wondering if it's really necessary to mount each index twice if you also want to add the registery-keys..
So for example, in stead of the next 2 mounts for the same index:

    1.
    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:(1 to 5) /MountDir:C:\WIM
    dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\IE9
    dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\WIM /commit

    2.
    dism /mount-wim /wimfile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:(1 to 5) /mountdir:C:\WIM
    reg load HKLM\WIM C:\WIM\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE
    reg add "HKLM\WIM\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" /v "DisableFirstRunCustomize" /t REG_DWORD /d 1
    reg unload HKLM\WIM
    dism /unmount-wim /mountdir:C:\WIM /commit

I think its more efficient to run this for each index..

    dism /Mount-Wim /WimFile:C:\DVD\sources\install.wim /index:(1 to 5) /MountDir:C:\WIM
    dism /Image:C:\WIM /Add-Package /PackagePath:C:\IE9
    reg load HKLM\WIM C:\WIM\Windows\System32\config\SOFTWARE
    reg add "HKLM\WIM\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main" /v "DisableFirstRunCustomize" /t REG_DWORD /d 1
    reg unload HKLM\WIM
    dism /Unmount-Wim /MountDir:C:\WIM /commit

But correct me if I'm wrong..
