IMO, there should be another option in the poll I get the bulk of my OS keys off of machines that i find in the trash, because people dont know how to reinstall windows. so i get a free pc and OS! i get tons of 98, me, 2000, xp, and vista keys that way! (and the rare win7 key once.) . i tend not to go through the former user's crap though, i just format partition 0 or drive 0 depending on if there is a recov. partition. if i dont need the pc, just install the right OS, then sell it. make $40-100 depending. it pays off for something you find next to a dumpster LOL. So most of the time, i only use loaders if i know that the OS i'm installing is only going to be installed for a short term. why waste a perfectly good key that you found? keep it, treasure it.
Not very many promo codes out just now, after they released the Standard subscription. Do you need the Pro Subscription?? If not, Standard cost $199. (Pro with promo, almost always $261) But I found one: TNWNF The price for Technet pro in the UK will then be: £175.66 (normal price: £234.21)
I was wondering how many keys do you get for windows 7? I was thinking of getting an account after I get enough money.
You get 10 keys for every version: (each license can be activated 10 times online, so you get 100 automatic activations per Win7 version) Windows 7 Ultimate and Ultimate K Windows 7 Ultimate N and KN Windows 7 Professional and Professional K Windows 7 Professional N and KN Windows 7 Home Premium and Home Premium K Windows 7 Home Premium N and KN Windows 7 Starter and Starter K Windows 7 Starter N and KN Windows 7 Home Basic And 500 activation of Windows 7 Enterprise, N, K, and KN and Professional, N, K and KN (only if you get the Pro Subscription) Remember that you get lots of other software then Windows 7 then, like Office 2007 (all versions), Office 2010 (pro plus, standard), Windows Server 2008 (+ R2), Server 2003, etc etc.
Ok, I'm only telling what ever all other says, and what MS says them self. But as alway, there is some difference. Remember that if you try to activate W7 Enterprise, you can do that 500 times with the same license.
yes, same exact system setup. i just activated again today with no problem at all. i am beta tester for RT7lite and do some virtual installs as well as actual installs for testing
I still think I will use the number 10 for online activations, and 25 for phone activation. And maybe somebody is more lucky and can get more then 10 online activations, but others do not.
For those of you interested, the new promo code for Technet Pro entitling to a 25% discount till Oct 31, 2010: TNITQ413
Yes, they have done some changes this summer. You have always could use a US Technet account, but with a credit card from another country. But it's good that they give us a coupon code thats valid for all countries then, and not only the US Pro account.
Why does MS discriminate and so widely. US Technet Pro is for around $261 (after promo) but in UK, converted exchange rate price is US$290+21% VAT. In India, only Technet Plus (which is Pro but perhaps with media) is available which is for Rs. 24,000-25,000 (US$510-550).
Don't know, what people is willing to pay for it I think. I Norway they have sat the price to $360 (with the 25% promo). Strange that they don't offer Pro in India, but I don't find it on the list of countries.
I think India has only one-Technet Plus-which is for around $500-550. This is definitely the Pro found in US/UK etc but not sure if it includes media also.
Which account includes all Windows 7 and Office 2010 software. Got a MSDN account but it doesn't include Win Ultimate or Office 2010
