How modified BIOS SLIC works ?

    How modified BIOS SLIC works, and how Windows 7 gets activated ?

    οκ ! another newbie question ;

    I have installed Windows 7 Ultimate and a MSI certificate . Could I use an OEM generic key from any vendor οr exclusively from MSI ?

    OEM:SLP keys aren't vendor specific; they are edition/SKU specific. So you can use any OEM:SLP key for Ultimate.
