When I try to print (actually I don’t have any physical printer just pdf creators), I get the error message that no printer is installed. When I try to reinstall them, the error message says no print processor. I've find out with some help that my winprint.dll is corrupted (in both locations).

    I ran scf/scannow from elevated cmd, Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Scanhealth and Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth as well as FixIt and Tweaking in vain.

I’ve been advised that the hotfix KB2913877 would replace the corrupted file but I don’t need the hotfix, if there is a way to change this file only.

I couldn't find winprint.dll for Windows 8.1 64 bit, for Windows 7 64 bit only to download. Anyway, I wanted to try but couldn't. Although, I, as administrator, am the owner of the file, and have full access, at least according to the file's properties, access was denied.

Is this winprint.dll (File version: 6.1.7601.17514 (win7sp1_rtm.101119-1850)) what I need, if not where can I download the one for Windows 8.1 64 bit from?

If I have the appropriate winprint.dll, how can I put it in place?

    Thank you so much.
