Bios Modded Are Very Good With Vista Sp1 Rtm I have 4 computers with mode bios made from asus activation for notebook, they all have been update with service pack 1 rc2 (RTM), from windows vista ultimate 32bits, all are activated e working very well.
Kyle, I just meant "That sounds strange", and did not deny that possibility. But I also believe their hardware tricks remain within BIOS at most, because each PC manufacturer sells ones with various types of chipset and setting a softwarewise trick (in the os) for every chipset would not be realistic. I do not have an idea about how and why SP1 deactivated your Vista, but it is not due to an intended one I guess.
I got it from the transcoding thread. It's F11, so the latest version. With the SP1 installed, it's still activated and "genuine".
