Well according to MSDN, both SoftwareLicensingService and SoftwareLicensingProduct Class from WMI are collecting read-only licensing status data using C:\Windows\System32\wbem\sppwmi.mof. SLMGR.vbs is just a front-end for the WMI data (converts WMI boolean value to locale language strings). Has anyone thought of altering the MOF, to trick the WMI. Who knows, we might not need to rename all these dll's if we can just insert the activation status = 1
Thank you alfa With Jinje's help we may be able to get it to say activated etc, With the help of nononsence he traced the genuine logo back to sppc.dll
Also, I'm not to clued upped about scripts and programming, but it could also be of great help, if someone could maybe help us out in writing a script, which runs the commands, after installation perhaps? That would be great.
Really good work guys. Hope you find the way out soon. And there wont be any need to do slic activation and all lol
Perfekt Job hazar. Only the message if i open control center are not realy funy ;0)... Thank you ....
By no nag screens, do you mean, no screens popping up saying you need to activate (thus after your initial 30 days) ?
