I would assume the same thing that happens if they publish a new version of sppcommdlg.dll. With these kinds of things one should always assume they need to be re-applied and possibly tweaked for each service pack. get used to it or disable updates. With these renamings does sfc /scannow revert the hack ?
not for now, but isn't that what we're trying to do, to reduce the rename and editing stuff of all these files just to sppwmi? But I think I've already (half) answered my question: When MS tries to disable this method they need to know if windows is legit or not, in order to set the valeus in the updated file, and the place where they will get that info from is the stuff they are actualy patching. Is that right?
With all the patching windows Seven is becoming a train wreck bois modds good loaders are good one sp for this it is gone
Jup, I know that the same thing can hapen to other files. And it won't be a wreck, all those things are meant to help MS fixing the nasty "wga bug"
Agree with that, but if none of the loaders work (which sometimes happens), it's still broke, and than the "bug" does need to be fixed. And it's always interesting to find other ways to do something

Yes, but if we want to experiment with alternative activation methods, what's the problem. And in the very rare case that there won't leak keys for some edition (starter or basic), we have an alternative and don't need to make a new one from scratch
no, by bug I meant that if you don't pay windows will start showing irritating messages and that kind of stuff. SO it's not a bug, it's more a stupid joke.
Tried it on a enterprise, and it didn't work. However mabye becuase the enterprise can pre activated (but then stopped working becuase of no kms)? Is this meant to work on enterprise?
Well when you say didn't work, this isn't meant to activate as such but disable the effect of the counter.
Hmm what can i do if i have the nag screen ( Windows activate screen? ) if i open notepad... ? Have install uninstall and it s ever time the same problem
