I think my icacls block works great to kill it all, denys the system all access to the file. I don't think a watermark remover is neccessary as we are killing what invokes the watermark. The control panel looks good. My plan: Deny access to sppcomapi - disables SPP rename slmgr - removes licensing script patch control panel - removes the activation dialogue
What do you mean? If you mean notepad nags etc. then no. If you mean logon popups, then also no. If you mean control panel, we're working on it
This pretty much confirms what i said yesterday. Time and date are irrelevant as it has no influence on how many seconds are left in the grace-time-pool. It is actual uptime that makes the counter counting down and eventually reaching zero...
It has two mechanisms. An internal counter, and a date based one. The date based one controls whether SLUI goes mental or not it seems, and the internal one activates the nags. but renaming sppcomapi kills them both I think.
nononsence how do you know which things to change because i want to know a little more about how you do it i'm pretty handy with the pc too but i don't know this (I can program, write a little assembly etc.)
Hi all, i got this message when try to open activate windows option: The program can't start because sppcommdlg.dll missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. Is this ok or i have a problem ???? P.S. i'm a n00b
I dissasemble the .DLL with IDA and look around, usualy I start with the imports, then when I start seeing function calls and code branches the deal with system licensing I nop, jump or direct the program flow where I think it shoud go.
So this is the beginning of a true crack story for windows 7... It will be very professional to see this project in a nice package where when applied to the system.. The system properties shows up exactly as if it was truely activated, with the nice genuine logo showing up along with windows is activated msg... The whole thing would pass wga.. And the best it is that it should work for everyone... You hazar and the other other guys are on the right track..continue the good work
