    Hello guys.
    I installed Windows 8.1 Pro VL.
    en_windows_8_1_pro_vl_x86_dvd_2791634.iso
    SHA1: DD982AADCE2CBBB650699266324216D011846ED9
    What is the best way to activate.Thanks!

    Best way always is your genuine key. Second best is to wait until new MTK is available which can handle V6 or wait for a KMS server which should be available soon

    Skype method does not work for me :( the computer generated tells me that my request could not be processed and my call would be forwarded to a representative.

    Skype? "Many apps and services (like this one) rely on a Microsoft account to....".

    Do people really enter their MS account details when they install Windows 8.1 Pro, or am I being paranoid?

    Why not just use a payphone, as it is a freephone number and anonymous.

    Or do what I did: Use Skype to call 411, and from there MS activation :p

    well my windows media center activate automatically after connect to internet with Media Center free gift key windows 8.

    At 1st. using online method
    note: use the same windows live ID login u used to activate windows 8 in windows 8.1

    2nd using offline activation via phone call

    well u can calling from any apps or services like skype, phone, etc..
    they use skype because it's free and easy ..

    for safety:
    hidden ur ip address (e.g use Hotspot Shield)
    make new windows live acc id with fake information
    login skype with windows live acc id
    call via skype
