How to activate Windows Server 2012 R2

    Hi, I am new to actication process and other techi things related to Activating Windows. Can some please guide me how can I Activate my Windows 2012 Server R2 Standard on Virtual Machine.

    Or plain KMS Emulator or edit BIOS to SLIC 2.3

    So many options....

    They ought to give it away for free in the end...

    Forget the Loader, there's no OEM:SLP key known for 2012R2 DC, yet. Only 2012R2 Standard.

    For 2012R2 DC, go straight to KMS.

    Thanks for the advice, not sure I like the look of the loader anyway :)

    loader is safest and fastest solution with nothing running in windows. Just remember to only get it from here and not the other BS places the internet has to offer.

    but yes, as stated, will not work for datacenter.
