In fact Office 2013 activation files are stored with Windows 8 files, that's why we can't activate it with this method on windows 8, but it should works on seven.
i successfully activated after reinstalling my os using advanced token manager. it back up and restore both ms office 2013 as well as windows 8. i am pretty sure about this. it even activates office office both X64 and x86 not depending on wat version it has backed up. and not on windows 8
tokens.dat for windows 8 and pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms for windows 7 use Advanced Tokens Manager to do that for you ,backup for both win & office
The latest version of Advanced Tokens Manager 3.5 does successfully restore Office 2013 activation as well. You can enter any key but it will still be activated after restoring tokens.dat
I can confirm, that saving the "store" folder and replacing it after re-installing Office 2013 works great, just be sure to use the same serial.
Hi cadcad: Good News for all...Can you write your step-by-step procedure to Backup and Restore the Office 2013 Pro Plus Activation? Thanks TecMan
C/windows/system 32/ssp - save the folder "store" reinstall Office 2013 use the same serial you used before, C/windows/system 32/ssp Copy saved store folder and paste in ssp folder to over write the existing store folder. This was done on the same computer.
Hi cadcad: Let me try to write the step-by-step procedure to Backup and Restore the Office 2013 Pro Plus Activation, all on the same PC Backup procedure 1. Install Office 2013, Visio 2013 and Project 2013 with its Product Key 2. Activate each Product 3. Save the Folder "store" (C:/windows/system 32/ssp) Restore procedure 1. Internet Turn-Off 2. Install Office 2013, Visio 2013 and Project 2013 with its Product Key 3. Over write the existing Folder store (C:/windows/system 32/ssp) 4. Check if the Products are already Activated 5. Internet Turn-On and run Windows Update Can you review and fine-tune the procedure please? Thanks TecMan
@ cadcad and TecMan Any way to add Product Key that we used to activate so that we do not need to enter product key again. All we need to overwrite the store folder only Thanks for your info and confirmation.
For Office 2013, you can add any key and after restoring activated tokens.dat in spp folder, you will still be activated
Whould just add that you will need to do this ... 1. Run command "Net Stop sppsvc" . If service is running then it will stop it else shows you message The Software Protection service is not started. More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 3521. 2.Change folder option to view hidden files. 3. GO to C:\Windows\System32\spp\store Folder & Replace tokens.dat & data.dat (This files is hidden & only visble if you change folder options) 4. Go to C:\Windows\System32\spp\store\cache Folder & replace cache.dat
@NICK@NUMBER11 we do not need to backup and restore the file : pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms, is it right ?
