Trying to use an ASRock H110M-ITX to reflash the (suspect charge-loss) BIOS of H81M-ITX Getting stuck at Size of ROM file does not match the size of system ROM Well I know that, because H81 has a 32Mb flash chip while H110 has a 128Mb flash chip. But why doesn't it detect the size of the chip that is currently installed. (Although it does read the firmware ID and etc)
Sorry, I've never tested a ch341a. I use myself a minipro tl866cs programmer but that's because reprogramming bios is part of my job. For a single usage it's probably too expensive. I've seen some people use raspberry pie's to reprogram SPI flash chips, maybe you can have access to one for free?
