I am working on a HP Compaq Presario CQ70-120US Notebook PC with Insyde BIOS F.65. The BIOS error log has multiple entries with code 0601, which I think is related to a failing primary battery. After running the HP battery diagnostics, one of the cells shows 0mV (yes, zero), so the battery is definitely defective. Is there a BIOS tool I can use to clear the BIOS error log after replacing the battery? Thanks for any assistance.
