Please gimme a screenshot of the scripts's output.
the script currently supports: Office2010 x86 installed on a 32bit windows.

If you want to use it on 64bit windows, you need to change some paths.
anyway, gimme a screenshot of its output and also give us info about your OS.

I think he is trying to activate the retail addition which is painfully annoying to activate.

As a quick reply, I must say: Yes, you have to do it yourself.
As a more detailed answer I recommend you to read post number 112 in page 12 of this thread and post number 125 in page 13. They are as detailed as needed. :)

And about the new method, I'll post it soon. It seems to be perfectly working in my experiments. :):):)

Well, So you are on win 7 32 bit, and you installed x86 version of Office 2010.
The script should work for you.

Would you please take a look at post 112 in page 12 and get more insight on the script.
If you problem persists lemme know.

I'm making a tool to convert retail installers to vl or vl installers to retail. It pretty much makes the same changes letsgoawayhell found out on page 9. You can browse for an installer file (exe or iso, x64, x86 or both combined) and then it can change the activation channel. Am I allowed to put it on the forums here with credits to those who digged into office files? Of course it's not warez cause it doesn't cracks or activates office.

letsgoawayhell, I installed windows office 2010 without entering any key yet. Do I just need to do what you said on pages 12 and 13 of this thread? If so, and after I activate it, will I have a VL vesion of office 2010? If you could answer these for me I would greatly appreciate it.

    thx

If you installed VL edition you don't need to do those things. Just use a KMS Host to activate.
But if you installed Retail version you must follow those steps (or you can alternatively use the script if you are on win32 with x86 version of office). After that you can use KMS activation.

When in Retail channel you cannot use KMS activation.
When in VL channel you cannot use retail keys.

All MSDN Office 2010 Final exe's are Retail.

Update: BTW, If you were able to install it without entering a product key, then you are already on VL channel. so no need to do anything. just use KMS activation and activate office.

The KMS host is located in the registry as a code typically its 127.0.0.1 which is the default however when there is nothing there its not set at all....

Hi, Thx but I am talking about the application that activates office 2010. Also, when running it, do I have to shutdown my AV cause I am told it thinks it is a virus. Can someone let me know if I have to.

    thx

I believe the ZWT keygen is now recognized as a malicious or somethin to that effect in the antivirus area but I could be wrong however if it is I would advise killing the antivirus your using for a couple of minutes in order to reactivate office 2010. Personally I've had no problem with the anti-virus so far but thats if you need to kill it thou..
