    Hi guys,
I downloaded Office 2010 pro plus retail by mistake and now I'm trying to convert to VL using the steps in post "112" but its not not working. I ran the batch file many times but I always get this message(I ran it as administrator so that's surely not the problem):
    What should I do now?
    Thanks

EDIT: I have a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and installed the 32 bit English version of Office 2010 pro plus retail downloaded from mydigitallife if that helps.

I've got only 2 words to tell you: THANK YOU!!!! It worked like a charm! That collection of yours is amazing. I hope you'll continue to work on it.

May i ask why hemmingway60's conversion from pro plus Retail lisence to Volume license would not work with the batch file. In that case exctly when does that bat file come into use?

Lemme make this clear for everyone
When you install Office x86 under Win x64, your Office is installed into "Program Files(x86)", but I the script assumes that your installation directory is "Program Files". Just open the script in notepad and change the path depending on which folder you installed your Office into, and you are good to go. :):):)

I am counting on you guys to find some simple solution to permanently activate office 2010 in a same way such as with one click of Daz loader I can activate windows 7. Now I dont think office 2010 should be much harder to crack than windows 7.

ha funny it took my about 10 minutes to mod my own thing to take down Windows now Office 2010 thats a tiny bit harder...
You have to break the encryption on 3 different items to make that work in the registry, tokens.dat and cache.dat all of which store the activation status...
I won't even go into the OSPPSVC.exe stuff but those are the 3 that need to be broken...
Thats why we are still here trying to figure it out I might look into changing the office 2010 registry values but its gonna be a pain either way...

And if you continue with that kind of thinking in order to activate Office 2010, i.e., manipulating files and registry keys, etc., you are going to lose and be greatly disappointed. Microsoft is about to release CLOUD SECURITY technology which will detect changes in files, registry keys and values and a whole assorted other things for all their Microsoft Product Software, including, Offcie 2003, Office 2007, Office 2010, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 and it will rendered all manipulations of the registry files and the activation files of all MS Products to be null and void. In otherwords, your Microsoft Pirated Programs will become NON-GENUINE.

The only true way to beat CLOUD SECURITY Technology is to work within the very system that Microsoft has created, which is to activate it using their own rules and regulations and that means NOT TO MOVE, DELETE, MANIPULATE and CHANGE files and regstry values of the MS product to be activated.

Trust me when I tell you this: There is a day of recokoning coming for all those who used loaders, frankenbuilt creations to activate Office 2010 and other manipulative devices to activate an MS product - all of you will be sorely disappointed.

The only true way for activation of Windows Vista and 7 is through BIOS modification which this forum is great at doing.

The only way for activation of Office 2010 is the KMS Activator but there is a flaw with this method - this method leaves open ports for MS to send a security update that will find this port open on all people's computer's who use this KMS Activator and MS will discover that this is a ploy for piracy. The only way to beat this is create a KMS Activator which changes ports every few hours on every machine which uses it.

That is the only way to beat CLOUD SECURITY technology.

The glass always is half full, never half empty...

1: There's nothing wrong with changing registry settings, isn't that exactly why regedit exists? If no one except for ms can change regsettings then the whole existance of the registry wouldn't make any sence.

2: the ZWT keygen isn't running all the time, it runs for about 30sec every 180 days. Ans what's wrong with a port being opened? If users aren't allowed to open or close ports of their choice, the existance of the ports and the ability of opening and closing them also makes no sence.

3: Loaders don't make moddifications to any system files, and it's always allowed to use an alternative bootloader like grub (otherwise linux + windows multiboot isn't possible). When installing daz's loader the grub file gets a random name, it gets encrypted, and it has additional random bits/bytes in it. This means no ones grub file is identical, so even cloud stuff can't do anything against it (I think). Only cert and pkey are identical to other's, but they can't block those cause they would flag all OEM pcs with this.

    tx for the info.
we try to get ready for that technology.
But as you said our last method is using microsoft's rules to add the required licenses. And for the registry modification I hav got an idea to circumvent that check you mentioned. but I am not gonna tell anyone about it till Cloud Security has been launched.

tx again for the info :):):)
