How to convert Office 2010 Retail Installation to Office 2010 VL ??

    i forgot that the keys get blacklisted, so yes, converting it to VL + KMS activation sure is the best way to go

    and maybe in 180 days the hackers will provide an working crack for the Retail version :)

    It is no problem if we need to reactivate it twice a year, unless it stays genuine :)

    How about creating a mini-KMS in a mini-Linux VM?!

    Cons:
    You need a VM like VMware-Player, VirtualBox etc.

    Pros:
    No more blacklisting/false Virus-Reports of KMS-Service, Exe by any Anti-Virus-Programs

    Then How will it activate Office, if the service runs in VM environment and the office is installed in your windows??

    anyone ca explain me quiqely the lastest letsgoawayhell's method for activate office 2010 retail version :rolleyes:
    i just know the vl method with replaced proplusr.ww RTM with proplus.ww VL and activate with mini-kms

    Thank for for this great tool. successfully converted Trial to VL.

    I have installed Chinese Tradition Professional Trial version in VMWARE running XP-SP3 and activated for 60days.

    Then, using "letsgoawayhell" method to convert Trial to VL.

    The "trail" is disappeared when running office application. but, It still shows the trial version will be expired within xxdays.

    set the system time behind expire date, guss what, it became VL and avtivated.

    What are the chances that a service pack or silent update or Original office check will damage/destroy yhe KMS activation??

    Slim to none because they can't block the KMS key because its the default key for Volume copies...
    It would also screw alot of companies up probably as well that use the default key...

    1) you only have to insert ip/netname of vm instead of 127.0.0.1, like in real KMS environments.
    2) you can run vm on another pc/homeserver etc.
    3) its safe for false alarms of norton, security essentials and other safetytools
    4) imho this little bit of complication is worth it. You dont have to worry after 180 days that keygen is blocked in a way you cant run it anymore.

    Let me get this clear.

    If I use the letsgoawayhell method described in post 1, then I've got to do Step 4 of The Office 2010 Repo, for example the manual way (C) that seems pretty easy.

    That will activate it for ever and I'll never have to do anything more. Right? If not... what do I have to do every 180 days? Step 4 again?
