Yes you will have to do step 4 around every 170 days.

So a monthly task to the bat in the manual way (C) should be enough, right? Oh, and adding an exception on Avira for the folder where the bat and the exe are :p

    A monthly task will do.

you could have removed your trial key using this command:

    cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:<last_five_letter_of_product_key>

    for example:

    cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:ABCDEF

KMS is MS's way of keeping volum licensors satisfed, MS can't do anything about it.

KMS rule says: you have to reactivate using a KMS host each 180 days.

I have added in caps that the kms way requires that you reactivate every 180 days...
But thats the general rule and its just a minor inconvience....

    Thanks letsgoawayhell!

I have successfully tested this method in a VM with Windows XP.

In the real world however (Vista) I cannot get it to work. Importing of the SKUIDs does not seem to work as they do not show up in here:

    What can I do? :(

letsgoawayhell, Thank you for your time. Just tested on my Win7 x64 box, the "trial" license has gone as your instruction.

    letsgoawayhell please help.

Letsgoawayhell, first of all, thank you for all your time, and the rest of the guys.

I tried this method with success:
    Code:
    rapidsharecom/files/391867436/Office14Retail2VL-0.1.rar

But ONLY because i used it on a Windows 7 32bit platform with a 32bit copy of Office Professional Plus 2010...

Could you please edit the batch and the .reg so that we can use it on:

    1- Office 2010 32bit on 64bit Windows 7
    2- Office 2010 64bit on 64bit Windows 7
    3- Office 2010 32bit on Windows XP

Again, thanks so much for all the help =)

MS Office 2010 Pro Plus English x86 - Installer Converter

I made an [Installer Converter] for MS Office 2010 Pro Plus English x86.
The converter can convert your MS Office 2010 Installation CD from RETAIL to VL and VL to RETAIL (vice versa).
All process is automated by using .bat

The size is [ONLY 10Mb.] :D
Why are you downloading hundreds Mb of files only to convert your MS Office Installation CD?.

If you have any ONE of installation cd meet the requirement files below, you can succesfully convert/switch your MS Office Installation CD using my converter.
    md5 checksum as below:

    1. MS Office 2010 Professional Plus x86 v14.0.4763.1000 [VL Edition]
