How to de-activated / free-up an activated Windows-8-Pro-WMC-x64 Retail-Key, after the PC which used it died ? Was just updating my Test-Dell-PC with the latest Windows-8-Updates, as it was not running for month, but something died and when I turn the PC on, it get's stuck after half the Dell-Bar is loaded (straight after turning the PC on and where you could still enter the Bios). I used the AU$70,- - Key back in 2012 and would like to use it later on with another PC. Is there a way to delete the Activation @M$ from another PC ?
just activate it again via telephone activation, it should ask you how many pc's is installed with the key - select 1 and you will get activation code, then sorted
I wonder if there is a limit to (re!)activating with one bought retail key in this telephone-activation-way, or could you do this numerous times on different computers?
