    1. Copy the content of your Windows DVD to a folder on your HDD
    2. Create an Ei.CFG file, Copy and paste the following into notepad and save as Ei.CFG in the sources folder
    Code:
    [Channel]
    Retail

    [VL]
    0
    3. Copy your folder on a fat 32 USB stick (verify the partition is active)
    4. Clean install booting with the USB stick : you can choose Pro or Home

OK see what you mean, if you already have HWID you should be activated, if not enter key :p

SCENARIO 3: UPGRADING A NEW PC FROM HOME TO PRO
Let's say you buy a new PC with Windows 10 Home installed by the OEM. When you check the Activation page in Settings, it should look something like this:

If you have a Windows 10 Pro product key, you can click the Change Product Key button and enter it here.

It does not appear you are doing anything wrong, in WUMT select the drivers you do not wish to install, click on hide (H), then install the ones you wish.:D

Because you have it set to notify you, WUMT will catch all drivers, you select, :p which ones to hide and which ones to install.

I wanted the drivers not to be offered by Windows Update.

As for WUMT without problems, I put it in the image just to show the settings (Notification Mode selected and "Include Drivers" unchecked).

The only option is to hide this update driver? Thanks :)

Have you read directions on shewolfs page in Sig, you can hide or install updates with WUMT:p

Once you hide them they will never be offered again:p

I do not use Defender on any of the PCs then with no problems.

I think it is best to manually update all things so I'm sure nothing will be installed that I do not want.

With each update Windows can behave in a different way it is difficult to predict what can happen.

That's just until I some day increase my skills and learn about Windows Server and WSUS :p

None of this may apply if you upgrade to Creators Update :p

WUMT with Include drivers=unchecked works in Creators Update

That doesn't help at all, in case you e.g. accidentally installed another driver or updated to another one (which e.g. has older driver date).

    Quality answers :rolleyes::eek::D:p:g:
