Change permissions of MsMpEng.exe to: Deny All

right click file: Properties > Security

    C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MsMpEng.exe

    C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\NisSrv.exe

also in gpedit.msc there is a security setting to deny access to certain files.

I don't have "a source" for this except my lost brain cells ;)

I wouldn't recommend that after you've already installed windows.
When the programs run they like to schedule tasks and reporting.
It is best to service things like this before you install on an offline image.

    understood

but i would like to know how i "unhide the packages" (curiosity :p)

and for what is "Windows-Defender-Default-Definitions" feature? can i disable it? it is not unhided so i think is safe to disable, right? (WinDefender here is OFF, i don't like to use any av-related things. The most i can "clean", the better)

    Code:
    DISM /Online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:Windows-Defender-Default-Definitions

    thx :D

I actually wouldn't recommend doing any more than doing the admin disable check.
Messing with the services and features will cause problems.
You're thinking about clearing branches, but you're actually about to uproot a redwood tree.
