Version 2206 (Build 15330.20004) Simplified Toolbar | Classic Ribbon Visio Gradually update the design. Recently, the developers updated the page switching piece in OneNote with a common style.
Make sure to set Office Update path to DogfoodDevMain (MS Internal Use Only) using latest OfficeRTool, otherwise it will downgrade the 15330 build to older one. Some bugs in my reg file: Outlook doesn't show titlebar buttons like Signed In user pic, Share and Comments as well as the Upcoming features Trumpet icon. You can see that in my screenshots above. (Maybe someone can help me to get these back?) Changing theme in Outlook causes Fluent UI to disable and launching Powerpoint enables new UI again. Excel shows Orange dot with mouse hover as "Letter D" which enables dark mode for cells as you can see in the last screenshot. Clearly work in progress. I tried the reg file on 2nd PC and it enabled Fluent Mica on all apps (Word, Powerpoint and Outlook) except Excel. Possibly everything is buggy and hence not enabled for anyone (not even beta testers) yet. This can also be because I experimented a lot to get the Mica look and I might have messed up the settings. At least we are on the right path to enabling Mica for everyone. Next goal is to enable everything with minimal reg entries.
@Dark Dinosaur Any idea why 2nd PC is not enabling Mica for Excel app? All other apps are getting correct Mica. Then 3rd PC had same problem with no Mica on Excel. However, I reinstalled Windows 11 and fresh install of Office latest Dogfeed build, Mica got enabled on Excel there using same reg tweak. Why only Excel has this problem?
