Hey, i installed ProPlus 2021 Volume LTSC x64 using the Office 2013-2021 C2R Install. the file Visual Refresh [Retail] LTSC Edition With Block KEYS.zip works for me very well. I have the new UI in my Admin-account. But it is not possible to start Word etc. with the new UI in my other normals useraccounts. Is there any possibility?
Can anyone tell me if you got this visual refresh working on Onenote? I got it working on all other apps (like Word), and tried so many things, including unistalling, cleaning, using sfc scannow.. you name it. I am running on latest Windows 10 LTSC. Thanks for any help.
I followed the instructions -- Office 365 With Mondo Volume License But I eventually tried all the 3 attachments. I also verified that the refresh registry keys for Onenote are in place.
Rename the user settings key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office when programs are closed. Add tweaks from the first post. Add similar registry entries as already done with the finished file. Code: Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.EnableComingSoonRefreshFlights Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.ComingSoonBadgeEnabled Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.ShowComingSoonTeachingCallout Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.ShowComingSoonUI Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.ShowComingSoon Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.TurnOnFeaturesBehindComingSoonByDefault Launch OneNote. Try restarting a couple of times. If it does not help, then press the ComingSoon button and turn off the option, restart, turn it on, restart a couple of times.
Thank you very much, I got it working! I just renamed the registry key as you suggested, and then run Visual Refresh UI [New].reg. Launched Onenote and it shows the new fresh interface. Do I need to add back all other registry sub-keys from the old \Office key? I mean: - ClickToRun - Common - DmsClient ...
See what settings you need to restore. Are they synced from the account. Usually, it is enough to check the changed settings in the programs themselves and log in to your account.
On latest update 2308 16731.20000 the simplified toolbar is removed and I cannot enable it again. Any ideas?
You need a test license of Mondo 2016 and a test deployment channel for developers. In theory, it makes sense to test with 365 subscription and other deployment channels. Through the program menu or through the registry, enable the EnableSingleLineRibbon option. Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Toolbars\Word] "EnableSingleLineRibbon"=dword:00000001 I recommend combining it with flags for QAT (QuickAccessToolbar), which allow you to enable similar behavior for Toolbar with automatic generation of main menu buttons. This allows you to get an analogue of SingleLineRibbon in the QAT panel for programs where SingleLineRibbon is not enabled. Look through notepad at the list of flags that I currently use. File attached. This is a redundant list but does not include all options. Look for other flags in the topic (published files) or yourself in the programs. My personal list was damaged, and finding flags in Microsoft Office is somewhat complicated, so I don’t update the data. Spoiler: Screenshots QAT (toolbar) Ribbon + QAT Ribbon (always show) + QAT Adaptive behavior of QAT from working with content. Note: This is under development, may be unavailable/removed/revised, or have various bugs.
New registry setting that may be useful. 16.0.17730.20000 (version 2407). Microsoft.Office.UXPlatform.FluentSV.ForceEnableForPerpetualAndWin11
The information comes from which file ? From this ? HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Common] "DevInstall"=dword:00000001
DevInstall = 0. Many logging (telemetry) flags are enabled. Also experimented with other potential option names that may have no effect: EnableOfficeBetaHeader, ExperimentDogfood, MsftInternal.
