I first installed Linux Mint and then I installed Windows 8. Now how do I solve this? EasyBCD doesn't seem to save my bootloader menu settings when checking with msconfig.exe

    This is partition table:

    /dev/sda
    -- /dev/sda1 (Windows 8 bootloader)
    -- /dev/sda2 (Windows 8)
    -- /dev/sda3 /boot (ext4)
    -- /dev/sda4 (EXTENDED PARTITION)
    ----/dev/sda5 /home (ext4)
    ---- /dev/sda6 / (ext4)

    Can someone help me?

I cannot install Linux Mint alone because some devices won't run in Linux Mint (a few printers at home)
But on the other hand I like Linux Mint to compile Android as well as few other things

Windows 8 is useful as well for so many things.

Anyone help me? Of course I can install Windows 8 first and then Linux Mint afterwards. But I am not going to reinstall both at the same time Always.

you need Boot-Repair to solve your problem. You should have installed windows first.
make mint bootable from a usb or livecd then follow these instructions
