Hello, From powercfg /a, I get this Code: C:\Users\cashback>powercfg /a The following sleep states are available on this system: Standby (S0 Low Power Idle) Network Connected The following sleep states are not available on this system: Standby (S1) The system firmware does not support this standby state. This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported. Standby (S2) The system firmware does not support this standby state. This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported. Standby (S3) This standby state is disabled when S0 low power idle is supported. ACPI has S3, disabled because firmware is forcing modern standby. I looked everywhere in BIOS, couldnt find any related option to disable modern standby/enable S3, the closest possible thing was ERP which is disabled. I flipped Fast Startup to disabled and also Asus Control interface but that didn't expose the hidden toggle neither disabled the modern standby. Anyone has any idea how cann this be accomlished ? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Firmware: American Megatrends.
As far as I know, there is no way to disable it, and older modes cannot be re-enabled. It has been tried, but they have not been stable.
