How to extract the Windows 10 key from a installation?

    I just try to swap the ESD for the one from WU. No way.

    @xinso

    Thanks for finding the product.ini for build 10240. Findings are:

    1. There is a Professional LTSB (ProfessionalS) SKU.
    2. Bunch of older SKUs (CoreARM, ProWMC, CoreConnected etc.) is still there; just for compatibility reasons?
    3. AFAIK, Education SKU supersedes ProfessionalStudent, but still its being kept.

    Yes that is what I did.
    On 8.1, upgraded to 10. Took 15-20 mins.
    Then, formatted and clean install 10 and it was activated right off (just skipped the key at all times during install). So this becomes a 8.1 to 10 upgrade path.
    The question is what happens after 1 year.
    Also does it make sense to also book a 7 to 10 upgrade path. That might not be the case since win 10 activation is hardware dependent.
