Yen, one can simply replace SLIC 2.0 with SLIC 2.1 (or SLIC 2.2) in ACPI7.ROM.

However, one has to get rid of that zeroing routine. Briefly speaking, look for string "SLIC" across all files in TEMP folder and you will find it in ACPI7.ROM of course and one another file. Load this file into disassembler and look for 32 bit code below the string SLIC. Check the parameters of the loop, i.e. starting adress of zeroes relative to beginning of SLIC table and number of zeros. Everything should match. Then remove the zeroing loop (and only that loop!!!) and if necessary repair arguments in jumps and calls, and look backward carefully to repair all of them.

Be careful, I mistakenly remove instruction "mov edi, ebx" just above the zeroing loop and the computer takes about half a hour to boot.
