I followed all the instructions and once I done it all. Then CMD popup after restart with those messages on the screenshot and I select "N". Then when I start my PC up when need to use it. Windows doesn't load even no Windows logo during bootup. Just stays on a complete black screen and after a while I hear like 2 windows error tone play. Then I do a system restore from bootup and restore to the point before installing aero glass. Then repeat the whole thing again and still Windows won't load up. So I decided I wait until BigMuscle releases aero glass for Windows 10. My computer specs is TOSHIBA Satellite L750 laptop RAM: 4GB CPU: 2.30 gigahertz Intel Core i5-2410M Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M OS: Windows 10 Build 9879
daveo76 I think that would be best, as this is more for default themes, as UxStyle_sep15_x86_x64_preview does not work for everyone, for some it give black screen after working for some time, and even when Unsigned Themes is not stopped. There is no full proof working DWMGlass.dll OR Unsigned Themes PATCH for windows 10 yet. Sorry for your troubles, better luck next time
UxStyle_sep15_x86_x64_preview is out of date version. UxStyle is at v13.1 with Windows 10 support. I uninstalled UxStyle and seem to make it work. Which means I cant use 3rd party aero glass themes and on startup the command prompt takes almost 10 minutes to get aero glass running
UxStyle_sep15_x86_x64_preview and aero glass work just fine on build 9860. Loads in about 5-10 seconds for me. Is there a reason for not providing the enableblur.exe you have? daveo76 I would try running the batch file directly before converting it to see what's causing the delay. Also the only themes i was able to find were the Numix and Nome themes but they are not aero glass enabled. I have to use default theme to get the transparency.
osninja I don't mind posting the how to guides and links, but i personally don't like to upload files. If you wish to post a link for enableblur.exe, that would be fine, i would add it to downloads
I'm not worried. It working excellent on Windows default theme for me since I uninstalled Uxstyle. Also I had my laptop running for few hours and aero glass never timed out each hour for me. I'm not sure if it to do with my aero license key that keep it stable. Windows 10 is still in testing stage so I always expect some sort of problems
magic-ability this setup package is for x64 bit, but from the looks of your desktop you are no stranger to aero glass, and i am sure you can and will figure it out. You can just Extract the Setup Package to a new folder with WinRaR, to see whats not working .
