    Guys,

I asked this Q. couple of weeks ago: How to upgrade CRA**ED Vista to W7

My problem is I have old Laptop, a 2006 Lenovo 3000 N100. BIOS has no option to boot from USB Flash drive (otherwise I'd have no issue). I can't burn a DVD as DVD-burner is damaged.

So... what I'd like is to install W7 on a new partition, but the only way I can do it is by running the installer from within Vista.

    Would that be alright?

    Many tnx

    Well..

I was thinking about this.. First, just mounting the *.Iso with, say, MagicDisc, probably could get you so far.. But i remebered the installation reboots and runs from the 'DVD' after about halfway of the installation. So i dont know how that would work. But i came across a program, EasyBCD 2.0 (176 Beta), that has an option 2 add a iso as a boot option. So i would go with that, first, to try and get it the installation 2 work. Its from neosmart, but its beta, so u need a free account to download it from the forums.. This is just my 2-retarded-cents, so it probably wont work.. Anyone else any good ideas i more-than-likey skipped over?
