Yes, i see you've used the autorenewal option and that's the best way to go.

Yes, it's always best to keep windows uptodate.
    From the readme:
    Proper autorenewal configuration:

DISM++ will be more difficult for you to use,

For you i suggest to just use WU.

I don't know if it has a problem with Win 10 but I am pretty sure it is all good with win 7 & 8.1. What one of my senior say about it :

DISM++ is a FREE implementation tool that has the ability to perform Windows Updates [WU]. Some of the advantages [but not all] are:

[1] The GUI is very easy to understand and use.
[2] It is much faster than M$’s WU because it uses a different engine.
[3] It downloads the latest WU DB from the M$ servers, scans your OS, and then lists the updates available.
[4] It doesn’t install superseded updates like M$ does.
[5] It gives you the option of what you want to install.
[6] The pre-ticked updates are what is recommended and are similar to the WU critical and recommended updates. The un-ticked updates are similar to the WU optional updates.

[7] It warns you if an update:
    • Includes telemetry.
    • Has known issues with certain hardware.
    • Needs exclusive access.
    • Is suspect.
    • Your OS doesn't need it.
    • Has any other known issues.
    [8] It doesn’t require re-booting between updates.
[9] It can be used to either update an install.wim image OFFLINE, or to update the LIVE OS

    @Enthousiast :
    Why Sir ?

Having worked for 7 years in a customer care center and 25+ years helping people with technicall problems, i've learned to assess the level of comprehension of users.

For updating a normal system for a normal user, WU is sufficient, and when some want to do it manually, one line of dism commands + the list/download links for the updates will be more then enough.

[10] It's a good old fashion Chinese plagiarized closed-source program with a heavy rain of deceiving open-source github appearance that's only referring to translations and plugins
(even so, people have been issuing vast amount of tickets, ~200 of them unsolved...)
controlled entirely by a Chinese entity - at any moment a part of code can do something malicious, with full admin rights over your system...
It does not matter that it works fine for now - this s**t is too risky and should have no place on MDL

    UPDATE :
Sorry, DISM++ is good for other things but not for updating Win 7 at least! It lists everything but does not select all the Security, Recommended & Critical updates itself. So, you have to decide over them yourself one by one & also take care that you select / Include their prerequisites as well! All this makes the process tiring.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

I'm extra special but If I don't nuke it all via kali and nwipe over the course of a week and going totally from scratch it feels dirty
