    You mean you downloaded a BIOS mod without reading about how you flash your BIOS? >.> Go read about how to properly flash your BIOS. Most of the BIOS mods comes with a flash tool.

    Thanks zort/reign, one last question tho if I choose to boot from the usb what command will start the process or do I just type run flashspi and follow the on screen instrutions?

    Have a look in your motherboard manual. Most gigabyte boards have a built in bios flasher called Q-flash, this will read the bios file straight from a floppy disk or USB stick

    That's why i posted that link. So he could see there is a right way and a wrong way to flash.

    Ok maybe not wrong but more risky method from within windows.
