I have 58GB Free out of my 64GB of RAM available most of the time. So this is just a waste having all that RAM sit there doing nothing.

What is the best way to make use of it and which is the best RAM caching software?

SoftPerfect RAM Disk is a good candidate.

PrimoCache is very good, but I prefer to keep it Write Only with Defer-Write enabled...
Windows own cache works as read cache, it is better than Samsung RAPID and works with all SSD/HD.
The SSD life is great extended by PrimoCache Defer-Write w ww.romexsoftware.com/en-us/primo-cache/exsample-reduce-ssd-wear.html
    OBS:
Because PrimoCache is the write cache, do not enable Windows "Enable write caching on the device"

Build 3 more machines and put 16GB in each, then stand in front of the mirror and ask yourself "Why did I buy far too much RAM when I didn't need it in the first place?"

Is that kind of like when Bill Gates said no one could ever possibly need more than 640k ?

    Who knows what's true

    ---
Gates himself has strenuously denied making the comment. In a newspaper column that he wrote in the mid-1990s, Gates responded to a student's question about the quote: "I've said some stupid things and some wrong things, but not that. No one involved in computers would ever say that a certain amount of memory is enough for all time." Later in the column, he added, "I keep bumping into that silly quotation attributed to me that says 640K of memory is enough. There's never a citation; the quotation just floats like a rumor, repeated again and again."

I didn't talk about the speed, but the size.
My motherboard can have the maximum of RAM : 8GB.
This PC is enough for me. I'm not playing heavy games.

BTW, I had big problems with the video card driver and internet disconnected and the Windows 10 freeze.
Now all is ok. I hope so. In Windows 8.1 it was rare that the OS freeze.
