Anyone have success in modding an abit ic7-g bios. I have tried modding the ic728 bin but when I run the slic mod I get and error stating "no space to insert module". Any ideas on what I am doing wrong.

Unless I have access to the link for your bios, I have no idea of what to tell you.

the one in the archive is modified using the default 0+2 option. it is the one i flashed. and yes, it was a fresh copy. so i don't understand were the HPQ things come from. you know, i flashed a full fresh version, only modified with dell-slic and default 0+2 method ... so what the hell is HPQ infos doing there?

This is not what I asked you to do? I asked you to please modify a fresh copy of your bios and use the ISA Method rather than the 0+2 method.

    Did you do that?

well, i don't thinks it is not enough ram, I got 4gb. But could be the video card itself.....old PCIe 128mb.

anyway, flashed bios and it went well. Ran cmd and followed instructions and win 7 is now activated!!!

Thansk so much. but one thing on the desktop in the right hand corner it still says "Test Mode Win 7 Build 7600".

    thanks once again.

i did that and flashed it ... and as the result my bios settings menu didn't work anymore. my pc crashed when tried to enter bios-settings. so i used default settings and flashed back.
so it seems that isa-method isn't the option for me.

ISA is the safest option to use for it completely writes over any active slics in your bios....I give up....turn this over to 911medic or zort.
