If you're not going to activate XP it's okay to leave it blank...
It's better if you flash BIOS from DOS Prompt ;)

    @Busykid508, Thanks a lot!!!

Do we not have an ASUS specific SLIC 2.1 yet? I could not find one in the "Slics_SLP_Certs" or along with the "slictool128". I guess its all the same (currently have added HP SLIC 2.1 to my P5B Deluxe's BIOS), but having an ASUS SLIC 2.1 in the BIOS is more... errr... satisfying :)

    Great work guys!

I added HP SLIC 2.1 to my ASUS P5Q BIOS and my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 activated just fine.

    Many thanks!

Give the name of the motherboard model and a link to download the bios and I will check it out for you.

Because SLP is automatically inserted when bios is modified.

What is the equivalent tool for Intel? Last year, someone managed what you see below, but it would have been 2.0 and not 2.1.

    D865GBF - revision: P25
slic = Asus, Fzeven, tested by acidrock

Modded my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 0504 BIOS with a Lenovo 2.1 SLIC, Cert and the leaked Key and Win7 is now activated :)

However, my vista which I dual boot is now 'not genuine' even using the same Lenovo cert and a Lenovo key for vista ultimate? How to get Vista activated with a SLIC 2.1?

    Man, you're a god.
After melting my brain for about a week searching how to mod the bios.
Finally thanks to you, i was able to do it!
    Thank you so much!!

Now, i have a question. This will work with any loader? Beacause i used the HP cert in here.
So, when i use the loader i have to use the HP cert or what?

    Thanks again!

    Bye, MerolaC

With a modded bios you only need the serial and a certificate (on first page of this thread). Don't waste your time with any loader!

Mmm, you mean the files ending with XRM-MS?

If are those, any serial will work?

    Specially this one. 22TKD-F8XX6-YG69F-9M66D------ ?

As you can see i'm a noob :(

    Thanks for your help :D

    Bye, MerolaC

Successfully modded my BIOS and flashed it, and Everest shows the cert, but I'm going to wait until closer to official release to install. My RC install is fine as it is.
