hello this iste is awesome and very helpful. but i have a problem if somebody whould be able to take a few moments and advise me.

So i have a compaq presario sr5110nx mb ecs mcp61pm-hm
I believe pheonix award bios, version 5.27... i have recently downloaded one of your modded bios (ty very much) which said it was tested and proven and loaded it on my flash drive. when i reboot i select my flash then here as follows C:flash.exe_ENTER then i am prompted to add filename to program__sr5110nx_slic.bin ENTER and then i am prompted to save bios file there is where my problem lies. whether i select y or n my computer seems not to respond and cannot proceed to flash my bios. plz if anybody has any info on how i can finish this process or on this topic at all i would be very greatful. ty in advance much appreciated

 

Unable to mod AMI bios

I've got a Jetway NC9KDL-2700 that' I'm trying to mod. The source BIOS is at at jetwaytw.com, and is the lated (BC9KAA02.zip (I'm not yet allowed to post URL's). I have sucessfully flashed that BIOS. Unfortunately, when I try to load it with AMITools, I get the message:

Not AMI Bios.

Is there another mod tool that I ought be using?

just use daz windows loader after bios flash.. it will say v2.1 in the window= good will instal cert and key no bootloader.

 

both apps say my bios file isnt the rite size and using a backup of my bios it said not an ami or award bios but it IS.. any help?

it is an ami aptio efi

Model - ASUS N56VM
Bios Type - Aptio By AMI
Bios Verison - 206

i wanna unlock it to get hidden features
this slic mod will work for that?

ok so its working so far.. nxt option that came up is the slic file.. do i need one or do i just choose from the options at the bottom?

 

These SLIC Tools are ONLY for adding SLIC 2.1 OEM info into a BIOS, NOT Unlocking Hidden Options.
You need to Google AMIBCP 4.53 and see if that can help you do what you want to do.
