As soon as they create your account, they'll e-mail you. You need to opt in from within your ACM account, click developer academic alliance from within the blue shaded box and you'll get the option to opt in. Then MSDN will send you your login details.
THats exactly what I did. I opted it. Then after that it is saying that it will take 48 hrs to send me the login info. Still waiting. Something im missing?
Sometimes the MSDN email goes into your junk e-mail. Try checking that, otherwise its a matter of just waiting. I'm sure they have many new accounts to create at the moment...
Interesting...the ACM MSDN-AA doesnt list Win7 anymore...is it just me or does some1 else miss it too?
wow...they removed it too..I was just about to sign up for IEEE after getting my money back from ACM...this sucks..
It was removed due to abuse by non-students, i was told. However, the existing licenses will remain valid. I also think that over time it will be available again.
