How to remove settings app icon from Start Menu ?

    should be shortcut in the start menu folder i think
    in this folder maybe ?
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

    have u tried this

    • Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter.
    • Navigate to: User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel.
    • Double-click Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings.

    Hi LiteOS, wouldn't that completely disable the settings app ? Not that I have any use for it but I would like to retain it for that edge case where I need to config something without going through the registry.

    Anyway, thank you for your contribution and a special thanks for the custom build you post on your Pastebin. Your contribution is highly appreciated.

    mb there same way to pass it and use settings when u need it even after using this policy
